Mission
EWB-USA partners with developing communities to improve their quality of life through the implementation of environmentally sustainable, equitable, and economical engineering projects while developing internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.
Vision
EWB-USA’s outward vision is a world where ALL people have access to the knowledge and resources with which to meet their basic human needs and promote sustainable development in such areas as water supply and sanitation, food production and processing, housing and construction, energy, transportation and communication, income generation, and employment creation.
Portland Professionals Chapter
Our chapter currently has three active international programs and one local program. The international programs are in Ecuador, Haiti, and Tanzania. The local program is with Growing Gardens in Portland, Oregon. Please visit our website for more information and to donate to our work!
